How to select molecular weight standards of different specifications?
The three molecular weight standards of 2kb, 5kb and 10kb correspond to 100bp - 2000bp, 100bp - 5000bp and 1000bp - 10000bp respectively. It is recommended to select the appropriate Marker according to the size of the target sample. It can be upward compatible, but the resolution issue should also be considered.
Can the brightness of the marker indicate the concentration of the sample?
Each band in this series is equivalent to 10 ng/μL of linearized DNA. The sample concentration can be roughly indicated by the brightness.
