The concentration of the extracted RNA product is low. How to solve this problem?
During the operation, please ensure that the bacterial cells are completely lysed. For certain yeasts and bacteria, if the lysis is not thorough enough, a homogenizer can be used for homogenization to ensure complete lysis.
The extracted DNA product has an A260/280 ratio of less than 1.8.
An A260/A280 ratio less than 1.8 usually indicates the presence of DNA or protein contamination. Please ensure that the lysis buffer (containing proteinase K) in the kit is properly stored at -20℃.
