Product Description

This product is a modified 6× concentrated DNA loading buffer. It contains three types of fluorescent dyes: bromophenol blue, xylene cyanol FF, and orange yellow G6. It can meet the requirements for nucleic acid electrophoresis migration indication within the range of 50 bp to 4000 bp. After diluting to the 1× working concentration, the solution's specific gravity remains at a relatively high level, making it easy to sink during loading. The color is highly identifiable, facilitating real-time observation and judgment of the electrophoresis process.

Product Advantages

The product formula has been optimized. Even after dilution to 1×, the density remains relatively high, making it prone to sinking during sample loading. The indicator has good visibility. At the same time, it contains three different indicators, which can indicate the electrophoresis process of nucleic acids ranging from 50bp to 4000bp.

Product Applications

This product is suitable for nucleic acid agarose gel electrophoresis. It can indicate the electrophoresis process of nucleic acids with a minimum length of 50 base pairs.

How to determine the usage amount of this product?

Mix the solution with the nucleic acid sample at the desired concentration and dilute it to 1× concentration. However, in most cases, a higher working concentration does not affect the experimental results.

How to choose the two-color and three-color Loading Buffer?

Compared with the two-color version, the three-color Loading Buffer contains orange-yellow G6, and it can indicate the electrophoresis process of up to 50bp. It is suitable for electrophoresis of smaller fragment nucleic acids.

My electrophoresis sample is not nucleic acid. Can this Loading Buffer be used?

Currently, this product has undergone agarose gel electrophoresis using semiconductor metal quantum dots, which can help the quantum dot samples settle in the sample well. It has no significant effect on the fluorescence intensity. However, it should be noted that EDTA should not be included in the electrophoresis system at this time, as it will form chelation with the metal ligands of the semiconductor metal quantum dots, resulting in fluorescence quenching.
